Cognitive Performance

B Vitamins are water soluble compounds that are neither synthesized nor stored in the body, which means they need to be replenished continuously. B vitamins are important for cellular metabolism and are critical for many aspects of brain and nervous system function. [1]

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine HCl)

B1 is important for converting nutrients from food into adenosine triphosphate (ATP) – the principle molecule used by cells for energy. B1 also contributes to the structure and function of brain cells. [2][3]

Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)

B2 is important for energy production and supports the conversion and recycling of other B vitamins including B3, B9, and B6. [4]

Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide)

B3 and B3-derived nucleotides (NAD/NADP) are critical for many of the cellular processes carried out by nervous system cells. B3 has also been found to have protective effects in the brain and facilitates DNA repair. [5]

Vitamin B5 (D-Calcium Pantothenate)

B5 is critical for the production of coenzyme A, an enzyme that helps produce the building blocks for brain cells, neurotransmitters, and hormones. [6]

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCl)

B6 is a cofactor for the folate cycle (discussed below) and is a critical component for the synthesis of neurotransmitters and melatonin. B6 is also involved with brain glucose regulation. [7] [8]

Vitamins B9 (Folic Acid) & B12 (Cyanocobalamin)

B9 and B12 are listed together because they are tightly linked in cell signaling and function. B9 and B12 are crucial for DNA stability and regulation of gene expression. Additionally, they are critical for the conversion of amino acids into the neurotransmitters used by neurons to communicate. [9] [10]

N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC)

NAC boosts intracellular levels of glutathione – a highly effective antioxidant. Studies indicate that NAC may have a positive impact on cognitive function [11] [12]

Ginkgo Biloba Leaf

Ginkgo Biloba has a long history of traditional use in promoting cognitive function and memory and has become a popular supplement for aging-associated cognitive support. [13]

Five Pillars, One Pill

Cannassist is empowering your mind and body on the journey to optimal health and happiness.  This one pill provides support to five mental and physical pillars that can perform at less than optimal levels as we use CBD, hemp, or cannabis, so you can seize the full potential of your health and longevity.

Potent Anti-Oxidant Formula

Oxidative stress occurs when chemical reactions in the body lead to the production of free radicals which can damage cells, accelerate aging, and increase the risk of disease. Use of CBD, hemp, or cannabis all lead to an increase in free radicals. Almost all of the ingredients in our formula have antioxidant properties that counteract oxidative stress and support your health. Anti-oxidant ingredients are marked with a star.

Cognitive Performance

The most commonly reported cognitive issues for cannabis users revolve around impaired thinking and memory. As the building blocks of a healthy body, B vitamins have a direct impact on your energy levels, brain function, and cell metabolism.
